Full-Time - Staff Web Blocking Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Assist Trend Micro employees from other departments via chat, email and case management system.
- 24/7 support customers on inquiry related to assigned project.
- Proofread and check submitted solutions before deployment to customers.
- Conduct quality assurance testing and monitoring of automated systems.
- Generate and maintain reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Gather data on special tasks assigned.
Roles and Responsibilities of WRS Solution Delivery Engineer
- Investigate and Analyze the following :
- Suspected Phishing mails and websites to produce a report and rules on how to block it.
- Malicious websites possibly containing malware and block the site when proven malicious.
- Non Malicious websites to provide proper categories.
- Perform the necessary solution of cases from customers.
- Perform research and documentation for the solution delivered.
Requirements:
- Good investigation skills
- Good judgment skills
- Good communication skills
- Good writing skills
- Good programming skills (preferably PERL, JAVA, PHP) is a plus
- Highly flexible and fast learner
- Willing to work on a day and night shifting, including both nightly and daily schedule
- Can work with minimal supervision.
- Must have 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
