Job Description:

A travel specialist is primarily in charge of assisting clients with their travel arrangements, ensuring efficiency and client satisfaction. Their responsibilities typically include offering services and travel promotions, arranging plane tickets and hotel accommodations, providing cost estimates, and recommending itineraries.

 

Responsibilities:

  • promoting and marketing the business
  • dealing with customer queries and complaints
  • providing advice about visas, passports and the client’s overall trip and destination
  • Planning and organizing travel itineraries
  • Selling and coordinating holiday packages  and travel insurance
  • Maintaining relationships with travel and tour operators
  • meeting profit or sales targets
  • preparing promotional materials and displays
  • Booking Airline tickets and arranging accommodations
  • Attends travel seminars and conferences
  • Conducts research on destinations and industry trends
  • Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, transactions, phone calls and meetings
  • Make sure that clients are happy and satisfied with the services

 

Qualifications:

  • Any Bachelor’s Degree holder; preferably in Tourism,Hospitality and Business
  • Must have an experience of at least 2 years or more in the Travel industry
  • Confident and can convince possible clients
  • Easy to train, focused and results-driven
  • Friendly and conversational to their prospect clients
  • Can convey thoughts well in English, Bisaya and Tagalog
