Job Description
Executive Assistant
Handling communications via phone call and email
Inbound and outbound calling
Patient follow-up
Manage Electronic Health Record (CERBO)
Set up appointments
Receive lab reports and other information and put them in patient charts
Forward patient questions to the client
Set up patient demographics in the chart
Keep track of patient statistics (Patients per month, new patients per month, etc.)
Remind patients of upcoming appointments
Email Management
Send patients welcome and informational emails (Templates provided)
Send patients forms and consent to fill out
Make patient handouts with information provided by the client (PDF/Word Document)
Request previous medical records from previous providers
Daily meeting with client for endorsement of task and report
Make sure new and existing patients are ready for their appointments by making sure that they have their forms, labs, and questionnaires completed as needed
Ordering medical supplies
Keep credentialing and CME (Continuing Medical Education) up to date
Additional task:
Taking care of the payroll
Experience and Proficiency
Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
Should have admin back-end support experience either from corporate set-up or as a VA **IMPORTANT
Should have graduated from college with medical-related courses if non-experienced and is coachable doing the role **IMPORTANT
Should have experience working in the medical field **IMPORTANT
Worked in a medical office before or worked as a medical receptionist
Should have CRM Management experience
