Job Description
Job Overview:
The Business Development Officer (BDO) will be responsible for finding and qualifying potential leads, contacts, and opportunities for the organization. BDO will also create and maintain databases, lists, and reports of prospects, customers, and partners. BDO initiates and maintains communication with potential and existing clients, partners, and stakeholders with the use of various channels, such as email, phone, social media, or events, to pitch, present, and promote the organization’s value proposition, products, or services. They also follow up and nurture relationships to move them along the sales funnel. BDO will also assist in preparing proposals, contracts, agreements, and other documents related to business development.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Collaborate with BD Team in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
2. Maintains and grow existing accounts.
3. Identify and develop new business opportunities.
4. Working closely with the Senior Management Team to ensure that all stakeholders are informed of the progress of the Sales Team.
5. Ensuring that all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.
6. Documenting the sales process and closing.
7. Assist in creating proposals and presentation material.
8. Providing support to the Business Development Team on all aspects of the sales process.
9. Managing customer relationships.
10. Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree related to health science.
2. One (1) year work experience as a Business Development Officer or similar role.
3. Knowledge of MS Office.
4. Highly motivated and target driven with proven track record in sales.
5. Ability to travel frequently.
6. Strong negotiation and sales skills.
