Billing, Intake, Reception Telehealth Virtual Assistant
Billing:
Prepare and process billing statements for telehealth services.
Verify insurance information and ensure accurate billing codes are used.
Reconcile billing reports and resolve discrepancies.
Follow up on unpaid claims and manage accounts receivable.
Coordinate with insurance companies and patients to resolve billing issues.
Intake:
Conduct initial patient intake interviews via phone or video call.
Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
Schedule initial and follow-up telehealth appointments.
Ensure all necessary forms and consents are completed and filed.
Reception:
Answer and triage incoming calls and emails.
Provide information about telehealth services and assist with appointment scheduling.
Manage the virtual waiting room and ensure patients are connected to their providers on time.
Handle patient inquiries and provide support during telehealth sessions.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
Administrative Support:
Maintain and update patient records in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
Coordinate with healthcare providers to ensure smooth telehealth operations.
Assist with the setup and troubleshooting of telehealth technology.
Monitor and manage telehealth schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers.
Address patient concerns and escalate issues to the appropriate personnel when necessary.
Collect patient feedback and assist in improving telehealth services.
Experience and Proficiency:
Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
Should have experience in Google work space, excel, google sheets/docs/forms and Clockify
Prefer billing experience, credentialing experience, insurance benefit experience, front/back office medical
experience, scheduling experience, working telehealth experience
