Full-Time - Staff Junior Accountant/Bookkeeper

Job Overview
We are looking for a proactive and highly organized Junior Accountant / Bookkeeper to join our growing team. This is a perfect role for someone who has “worn many hats” in a small company and thrives on seeing the big picture of business operations. You will handle end-to-end accounting processes, ensuring that every detail is captured accurately and every deadline is met with enthusiasm.
Key Responsibilities
• End-to-End Bookkeeping: Manage daily accounting tasks including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger maintenance.
• Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and process basic BIR filings and ensure compliance with local government requirements.
• Inventory & Costing: (If applicable) Monitor inventory levels and assist in cost accounting, particularly for manufacturing-related workflows.
• Process Improvement: Proactively identify ways to streamline our filing and recording systems.
• Team Support: Act as a “reliable hand” by helping out with administrative or operational tasks when the team needs an extra push.
Qualifications
• Experience: 1–2 years of solid experience in accounting or bookkeeping.
• Background: Experience in a small company environment is highly preferred, as you must be comfortable handling full-cycle accounting.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience in manufacturing or production-based businesses is a significant advantage.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Excel and familiar with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar).
• Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Ortigas.
