Job Description
Bookkeeper
Assist in recordkeeping and documentation
Manage BAS (Business Activity Statement)
Coordinating tax returns and filing issues with the accountant
Handling payroll
Cash flow management
Assist with cash flow forecasting/budgeting
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts
Preparing financial statements showing business income and expenditure
Developing monthly financial statements including cash flow, profit and loss and balance sheets
Data entry in Xero
Experience and Proficiency
Good English communication skills (written and verbal)
Should have backend admin support experience either from corporate set-up or as a VA **IMPORTANT
Should have experience in using Xero and BAS **IMPORTANT
Extensive experience working with Australian clients in the past **IMPORTANT
Should have experience in using Dext, Airwallex, Google Drive and Stripe is a huge plus
