Full-Time - Staff Technical Trainer

Job Description:
- Responsible for developing and organizing in-depth technical training for Trend Micro Technical Support engineers
- Conduct trainings on Trend Micro products as well as Platform Technology trainings such as Windows OS, Basic Networking, Virtualization, etc…
- Collaborates with product development and operations team to obtain information required to develop training materials on all aspects of the product
- Evaluate Transaction Monitoring and other QA activities to gain customer insights and incorporate obtain information in updating training materials
- Update training materials as needed
- Develops training content – handouts, outlines, agendas and syllabi.
- Conducts Training Needs Analysis
- Tailors training content based on trainee’s specific needs
- Contributes to team planning for both training and development schedules
- Delivers Training Programs / Modules based on training plan requirements and according to operations requests
- Incorporates creative and interactive training techniques to enhance the training experience, in an effort to maximize learning and retention
- Builds training and train-the-trainer programs
- Supports development of e-learning solutions
- Ensures new training methodologies incorporated into training approach
Requirements:
- Graduate of 4-year Computer-related course
- At least 2 years work experience in supporting Trend Micro products (desired)
- Prior experience with building and developing technical training programs is an advantage
- Good working knowledge and understanding of Administration of Operating Systems
- Technical Writing experience is a plus
- Presentation Skills is required
- Great communication, collaboration, and flexibility to work with others
- Can easily learn new products/technologies with the aim of conducting trainings for such topics in the future
