Full-Time - Staff Sourcing Threat Research Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities
Provide solutions in collecting in-the-wild malware samples and hand-over them to appropriate channel
- Conducting research on malwares, malware related technologies, and infection/propagation vectors.
- Developing honeypot/sourcing systems to capture in-the-wild malwares.
- Coordinate with other Anti-Malware teams and RTLs for solution development, systems/process deployment, incident reporting and knowledge sharing.
- Monitors different forums, blogs, and sites, peer to peer applications and collect malicious/suspicious files on different sources
- Identify and source noteworthy and emerging threats from different sourcing system
Requirements
- Have a basic understanding in any but not limited to any programming languages: Python, Perl, C, C#
- Familiar with HTML, Javascript and VBscript
- Intuitive and thinks out-of-the-box
