A Social Media Specialist is responsible for creating and administering content on all social media platforms, such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, to build an audience and ensure customer engagement. The Specialist may also monitor site metrics, respond to reader comments, and oversee creative design.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree, any field.
- At least 3 years of experience in digital marketing, social media or a related field.
- Familiarity with the business applications of social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn)
- Understanding of social media metrics; able to interpret the results and take action to increase effectiveness of social media campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Ability to think creatively and innovatively, multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Creative, forward-thinking, and organized
- Ideally some experience in photography, graphic design and video editing platforms
- Customer support experience
- Chinese speaking – an asset
