Senior Web Content Writer
Responsibilities:
The Senior Web Content Writer creates content aligned to specific Web marketing strategies and campaigns that will market the following: Trend MicroTM products, and the expertise and services offered by TrendLabsSM. Specifically, the Senior Web Content Writer will work as part of a team of marketers/campaign leaders, other writers, editors, and graphic artists focused on creating content that fits the Web and its intended audience and will take on the following responsibilities:
Promote TrendLabs as the Trend Micro center for security expertise by coming up with web content that highlight both real-time threat discoveries and long-term research
Create various marketing assets—such as blog entries, infographics, feature articles, forum and social media posts, and other web content—that discuss recent malware and security incidents, threat trends, and the Trend Micro core technologies that protect users from said threats
Formulate and drive security stories that complement the campaigns and other marketing activities of global and regional marketing groups
Research on new technologies and avenues to be used in marketing web content created
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience in writing marketing collaterals
At least 3 years’ experience in web content writing
At least 2 years’ experience in editing/copyediting
Strong creative writing skills in English required, strong technical writing skills an advantage
Knowledge and experience in web content platforms an advantage
Project management experience with coordination skills a plus
High interest and proficiency in computing, the Web, and surrounding technologies
Knowledge in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign an advantage
Creative, and ability to express ideas with confidence a plus
College degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or the Arts)
