Senior Marketing Research Writer
Responsibilities:
Collect and analyze Trend Micro data to formulate security stories that are relevant to today’s computing public and their varying needs for security intelligence
Collate and analyze security stories published in security and technology sites to aid in forming trends and verifying Trend Micro data
Create historical analysis and determine emerging trends in order to develop online marketing assets such as blog entries, feature articles, data reports, infographics, and datasheets that demonstrate the company’s expertise in discovering and addressing security incidents, monitoring the shifts in the threat landscape, giving relevant expert advice, and building the latest technologies to combat attacks
Collaborate with threat researchers, engineers, and other operations groups to paint an accurate picture of the threat landscape
Create regular reports on the results of analysis to feed to stakeholders
Requirements:
At least 5 years’ experience in writing marketing collaterals
At least 3 years’ experience in market research and data analysis
At least 2 years’ experience in editing/copyediting
Deep understanding of the security industry, including emerging technologies, prevailing computing behavior, and security threats and solutions
Strong creative writing skills in English required, strong technical writing skills an advantage
Project management experience with coordination skills a plus
Knowledge in HTML, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and Adobe InDesign an advantage
College degree (preferably in Marketing, Communications, or the Arts)
