Full-Time - Staff Refrigeration and Cold Storage Technician
Job Description
Brief Description
A Refrigeration & Cold Storage Technician is responsible for handling installation of refrigeration systems and components, refrigerant charging the cold storage room by maintaining storage parameters such as temperature and relative humidity in processing units.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair all types of air-conditioning units.
- Conduct surveys and properly install all types of air-conditioning units (Inverter and Non- Inverter).
- Compressor Replacement, Leak repair and System reprocess.
- Conduct Preventive Maintenance, install, repair and reprocess HVAC System.
- Perform any mechanical functions like welding, soldering, fabrication and brazing if needed.
- Read building plans and figure out the best method to install HVAC.
- Interact effectively, professionally, and collaboratively with internal and external clients.
- Make a written job report.
- Perform assigned tasks given from time to time.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Graduate of RAC servicing, or Completed Vocational Courses in Refrigeration and air-conditioning;
- With at least 3 years of commercial HVAC experience;
- Knowledgeable in various devices and tools that performs HVAC function;
- Clean driving record and a valid driver’s license is an advantage;
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills;
- Willingness to take on responsibilities and challenges;
- Reliable, responsible, and dependable, and fulfilling obligations.
