Full-Time - Staff Payroll Specialist

Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities: 1. Perform daily payroll department operations 2. Manage workflow to ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and timely 3. Reconcile payroll prior to transmission and validate confirmed reports 4. Understand proper taxation of employer paid benefits 5. Process correct garnishment calculations and compliance Execute eTime time and attendance processing and interface with payroll 6. Perform compliances for unclaimed property payroll checks 7. Process accurate and timely year-end reporting when necessary

Qualifications: 1. College Graduate 2. CPA passer preferred but not required 3. 4-6 years experience processing payroll or general accounting 4. Working knowledge of payroll best practices. 6. Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel 8. Strong work ethic and team player. 9. High degree of professionalism. 10. Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material 11. Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills. 12. Ability to communicate with various levels of management. Decision-making, problem-solving, and analytical skills. 13. Organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.
