Full-Time - Supervisory Legal Superintendent
Job Description
Responsible for assisting the Legal Department Manager in the attending to the day to day operations of the Legal Department and in supervising and monitoring activities related to or concerning the following:
Court cases involving huge amounts in claims;
Processing, negotiation and payment of accident claims;
Reporting, investigation and decision making for erring employees’ administrative cases with the end in view of promoting and maintaining industrial peace with the labor union;
Ensuring the company’s compliance with applicable laws, ordinances and other regulations, including proper franchising and registration of company vehicles;
Qualifications:
• Graduate of Political Science, Business or any related course
• Juris Doctor or currently in the 3rd year of JD
• Legal knowledge and background is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in using MS Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel)
• At least 3 years in a supervisory position handling 5 or more subordinates and implementing/enforcing company policies with the application of legal knowledge.
• Willing to do fieldwork. Willing to work on holidays and weekends.
Self-motivated with a willingness to take initiative and solve complex problems.
• Can work with minimal supervision.
