Full-Time - Staff IT Engineer

Job Description

Is currently working in a company with an enterprise class infrastructure, meaning the company’s business/services is mid to large size and has large resource capacity to provide its services, best from IT/Technology/Industrial organizations.

In-house support is best, the current job or previous job experiences cover the following:

  • Has experience with Windows and Linux Servers.
    • Has work experience on the following.
      • Server installation – this is a must
        • Experience with RAID configuration
        • Experience with BIOS and device firmware upgrade
      • OS installation
        • Experience with Windows Server OS installation/configuration – this is a must
        • Experience with Linux OS installation/configuration – is a plus
    • Windows domain services management. Has experience deploying/managing either 3 of the following.
      • AD/DC
      • DNS
      • DHCP
      • IIS/FTP
      • File/Print services
      • DFS – is a plus
      • Proxy – is a plus
      • SQL Database
      • Clustering
  • Has experience with VMware vSphere ESXi Server/Cluster management.
    • Has work experience on the following.
      • ESXi host installation and update
      • ESXi host network configuration
      • Datastore/Storage creation
      • VM creation and customization
      • vCenter management (has administration level support permission)
  • Has experience with Storage devices.
    • Has work experience on the following.
      • Able to install storage devices/appliances. Any device acceptable. IBM and Dell is a plus.
      • Experience in installation of the following.
        • DAS (Direct Attached Storage
        • NAS (Network Attached Storage)
        • SAN (Storage Area Network) – Knowledgeable is acceptable
  • Has experience in Networking.
    • Knowledgeable in networking concepts and has actual experience configuring a switch or router in their current/previous job.
    • Certification on at least CCNA or training (has more bearing) is a plus.
    • Experience with Juniper Routing and Firewall is a must. (Advance Level)
