Full-Time - Staff Flight Dispatcher
Job Description
Job Requirements:
- 25 – 30 years old
- Graduate of any Engineering or airline-related courses
- With valid Flight Dispatcher License
- Computer and teletype literate
- Articulate, aggressive and well-organized
- Can work under pressure
- Good communication and instructional skills
- Must be a self-starter
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Monitors flight movement of customer airlines and advise all concerned.
- Ensures that communication machines and facilities are in good working order so as to avoid unwanted loss of important telexes. When breakdown occurs with any of the communication machines, coordinate with the office concerned for the repair and/or replacement of the said machines ASAP.
- Prepares crew briefing folders with complete documents and data as required by customer airlines
- Carries out dispatch crew briefing or debriefing as the case maybe.
- Maintains constant vigilance about the overall flight operations taking necessary actions in case of flight disruptions, emergencies and weather disturbances to minimize the effects of these on our flight handling and coordinate with the officers concerned and also note down important Information relayed to the pilot
- Notes down all air to ground communication or any special information or requirements given by the pilot.
- Records all safety flight incidents and accidents and report these all concerned.
- Undertakes all the necessary actions and coordination with all offices concerned regarding activities for non-scheduled flights including over-flying airline customers.
- Ensures that ATS plan of the flight being handled are properly filed.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities that may be given from time to time.
