Job Description
Content Specialist
Responsibilities:
- Overall management of content on all Trend Micro support websites
- Develops clear online content and provides timely publishing to customer support issues and inquiries via self-service portal
- Translates and rewrite various support materials (e.g. technical documents, support cases, community posts, etc.) to knowledgebase content
- Devise unique, creative ideas for new features, content and enhancements that advance content towards enabling self-service to be the first and only support option for customers
- Organizes and maintains support content library and its metadata
- Coordinate content management requirements with contributors, web production specialists and user experience specialists to ensure consistency in style, relevancy and quality
- Build new web pages from ready-made templates and edit/maintain existing content on web pages
- Adheres to agreed corporate online terminologies, web style guides and SEO standards
- Research and keep up-to-date with industry trends
- Write articles as necessary
Requirements:
- Writing, editing, proofreading and copy-writing skill is a must
- Background on SEO is a plus
- Working knowledge in HTML (able to handle hand-coded HTML in addition to WYSIWYG editors) is an advantage
- Posses strong organizational skills, attention to detail, lateral thinking and be a fast learner
- Strong English communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and set priorities to achieve tight deadlines
- Willing to work within catered customers regional time zones
- Customer service and detail-oriented
