Full-Time - Staff Cloud Security Systems Engineer
Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provides Technical Support for Trend Micro’s tightly integrated offering of content security products, services, and solutions powered by the innovative, in-the-cloud Trend Micro Smart Protection Network™ via different support channels – phone, email and chat
- Manage open cases to resolution
- Ensure cases are logged in the CRM tool
- Continuously improve and upgrade technical knowledge and skills through training and certification
- Meet business objectives and team targets defined by Performance Development Scorecards
- Use existing knowledgebase, and contribute and improve online solutions to resolve cases
- Proactively shares knowledge through technical sharing and training, solution contribution and self-service participation
Requirements:
- Graduate of any 4 or 5 year IT related course
- 1 year experience in any industry with a general understanding of computer hardware and consumer/home edition, and/or or corporate edition operating systems
- Preferably with experience in installing and configuring Microsoft Windows operating system and/or Messaging servers
- Preferably with good understanding of Internet technology and TCP/IP environment
- Intermediate understanding of Microsoft Office applications and Microsoft Windows accessories, including web browser and instant messaging software
- Preferably with Microsoft Windows certification or any networking related certifications (Cisco)
- Ability to effectively instruct or guide customers in verbal and written English language
- Possesses excellent customer service skills, enthusiastic and prompt
- Willing to work on any shift particularly night shift
