Full-Time -Managerial Chief Accountant
Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to oversee daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support continuous process improvements. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, solid technical accounting knowledge, and the ability to manage a team in a fast-paced environment.
Location: Ortigas, Pasig
Work Arrangement: On-Site
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day accounting functions including AP, AR, GL, and payroll
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities
- Maintain compliance with accounting standards (GAAP) and internal controls
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Monitor and improve accounting processes for efficiency and accuracy
- Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
- Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback to the accounting team
- Prepare financial reports and analysis for management decision-making
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA candidate preferred
- 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
- Experience with accounting systems (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite)
- Excellent analytical, supervisory, and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
- Willing to start ASAP
