Full-Time - Staff BizTalk Enterprise Development Consultant

Job Description

BizTalk Enterprise Development Consultant, with a solid background in Microsoft technologies, to join the Development and Integration practice. As a senior enterprise BizTalk consultant, you will help customers with delivering solutions for Microsoft’s collaboration platform, including everything from planning, through design, development, and testing, to deployment.  The Consultant reports to the State Manager and has key relationships with customer, internal Practice Leads, and the greater internal community.

 

Key purpose of the role

 

  • As a Consultant you will participate in customer engagement activities, assisting the sales team through the sales cycle, including customer presentations and advising end-to-end technical solutions from design/delivery/implementation/deployment using the latest technologies helping customers with their on-premises or online deployment model.

 

  • As a Consultant you will assist through multiple stages of a customer engagement cycle and will focus on creating immediate and lasting business value across the service lines, including:

o   Initial customer engagement and pre-sales assistance

o   Envisioning and Conceptual Solution design

o   Detailed solution design and implementation

o   Operational hand-over

 

  • As a Consultant you will play an active role within the team by supporting both internal and external communities, along with having a passion for continual development of technical skills and knowledge.

 

  • You will participate in customer engagement activities and assist the sales team through the sales cycle, including giving presentations to customers and contributing to proposals.

 

  • You will define customer problems, prepare strategies and advise on end-to-end technical solutions—from design through to deployment—and work with the latest technologies assisting our customers with their deployments and enhancements of solutions, and complementary technologies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 The role will focus on but not be limited to the following:

  • Leading discussions with enterprise customers on the use of Cloud technologies and integration into new and existing customer infrastructure
  • Accountability for all aspects of technical delivery
  • Executing technical customer engagements, producing design and implementation documentation
  • Implementing Microsoft technologies to achieve the customer’s objectives
  • Continuing to develop technical capabilities and knowledge
  • Being actively involved in contributing to our team community
  • There is potential for interstate travel

 

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • University Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience relevant to position
  • Microsoft Certifications would be extremely beneficial
  • Exposure to other Cloud technologies would also be well regarded and extremely beneficial.
  • Experience in consulting environments

 

 

Technical Skills Requirements

 

  • At least 5 – 8 years of enterprise development experience, including strong consulting skills
  • At least 3 – 5 years of BizTalk enterprise development, deployment experience across a number of versions including 2010 and 2013
  • .Net development experience
  • Solid experience with BizTalk tools including ESB toolkits
  • A well rounded complementary skill set across SharePoint
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confidence in engaging with client stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong technical problem solving ability
  • A great attitude and desire to work collaboratively as part of a cohesive team
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure also highly regarded
  • Leading discussions with enterprise customers
  • Estimating costs and timeframes, preparing scope statements and statements of work
  • Taking accountability for all aspects technical delivery
  • Executing technical customer engagements successfully, including producing design and deployment documentation
  • Proactively sharing skills and knowledge with colleagues and the broader technical community
  • Remaining up-to-date with the latest innovations in the Microsoft platform
