Job Overview:
Body Mechanic is seeking a dedicated and skilled Sports Physical Therapist to join our growing team. With a strong focus on rehabilitation, performance enhancement, and injury prevention, you will play a key role in helping active individuals achieve their goals. Our clinic is expanding to a larger, state-of-the-art facility, offering more opportunities to deliver innovative treatments and optimize patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Patient Assessment and Treatment
- Evaluate and diagnose sports-related injuries and physical impairments.
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans to restore function, improve performance, and prevent future injuries.
- Utilize advanced manual therapy, exercise-based rehabilitation, and cutting-edge modalities.
2. Performance Enhancement and Injury Prevention
- Provide athletes with tailored programs to enhance their performance and prevent injuries.
- Educate patients on proper body mechanics, stretching, and strengthening techniques.
- Conduct sports-specific movement assessments to address biomechanical issues.
3. Collaboration and Coordination
- Work closely with other physical therapists, strength and conditioning coaches, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Collaborate with the team to optimize the use of our expanded facility, including gym and recovery areas.
4. Education and Community Engagement
- Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention and recovery strategies.
- Participate in workshops, events, and outreach programs to represent Body Mechanic in the community.
5. Documentation and Compliance
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
- Adhere to clinic policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy.
- Valid Physical Therapy license.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with athletes or active individuals.
- Certifications in dry needling, sports rehabilitation, or strength and conditioning are a plus.
- Familiarity with sports-related injury management and performance enhancement techniques.
- Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on the latest sports physical therapy practices.
